Welcome to Florida Fastbreak! Florida Fastbreak was founded in the Spring of 2003 by Goldie Ayers and Mike Carbone of New Port Richey Florida. Built on the philosophy of building basketball players one dribble at a time the goal of Forida Fastbreak is about more than just playing basketball it's about teaching the game. Mr. Ayers and Mr. Carbone have helped produce several Bay Area High School players including 3 time SAC Player of the Year Crystal Ayers, Ridgewood High School standout and Pasco County top free throw shooter Stephanie Carbone and 2 time SAC Honorable Mention team player Nina Bonaparte. In addtion Mr. Ayers and Mr. Carbone have worked with River Ridge standouts Ryanne Hille,Lauren Hille and Gulf standout Turqouise Sampson. Florida Fastbreak opened with League play in June 2003. The League quickly drew 200 kids from all over New Port Richey, Holiday, and Hudson 22 teams were formed, teams included girls 9U, 11U, 13U, and 14over. The boys teams included 9U, 11U, and 12over. So what did Florida Fastbreak bring Pasco County Florida. It brought the realization that basketball talent is alive in Pasco County and its looking for the opportunity to shine at the competive level. In March 2004 Mr. Ayers and Mr. Carbone realized their dream, they successful launched the first AAU season for Florida Fastbreak in Pasco County. GOOD LUCK to all our teams!!!
